"Fifteen artists were asked to create work as responses to experiences with romantic relationships. Through a variety of media, each work conveys a personal relationship to the fractured, yet still omnipresent concept of love and the erotic in contemporary society. Ranging from fantastic to literal, sensual to abstract, ironic to ardent, Romance takes a kaleidoscopic look at today’s romantic and sexual relationships."

DISCO CLONE
"Cristina Monet had no real intentions of becoming a singer, but when a song called "Disco Clone" came to her attention, she was inspired to make a record of it. It was written by a mutual friend of her and Zilkha whom she knew from Harvard. She thought the lyrics were laughably awful, and suggested that it be recorded as a Brechtian satire, which is exactly what happened."

this is what it says on the back of the record:
"Genevieve Waite, and underground star on the Paris, London, Los Angeles & New York circuit has travelled with the speed of light since leaving her native South Africa at eighteen. She played the title role in the movie "Joanna" and since then has turned down movies to have fun with friends like John Phillips, Mick Jagger and Andy Warhol. At last this elusive star has been in one place long enough to record an album of her "unfamilliar sounds" and as everyone always suspected, its incredible. Genevieve and John collaborated on most of the songs and the result as you will hear is a happy one for music lovers everwhere. So here she is: "As hard to capture as a new thought the jiving, thriving, Miss Genevieve Waite." LET THE 70'S BEGIN..."
